KIDS' NIGHT OUT IS CANCELLED for Thursday, November 16th.  We will resume after Thanksgiving break.

A Drop-In Evening Child Care For Kids aged 2-12. The Women's Center becomes a place for kids to spend some hours having fun while parents run errands, relax over dinner, study or attend a lecture, catch up on work or just need a break. Whatever your reason, we provide your child a fun and safe place and you a peace of mind.

NEW PROGRAM DETAILS:

Dear Kids’ Night Out Parents:

The popularity of the Kids' Night Out program has grown significantly in recent months. We love that it is so popular, and realize that we are filling a real need.  That said, because the safety of your children is our highest priority, we are going to begin limiting the number of kids who can come to any given session.

On a trial basis we are going to try a system of preregistering. Each week we will have a link on our home page (www.womenscenter.vt.edu) where you can sign your kids up for that week. We will aim to have the link posted to the website by Monday afternoon each week. There will a “Doodle Poll” with a limited number of spots, and when that is full we will no longer accept additional children for that week. Because of this we ask the following: • Please only register if you are sure you are going to be able to make it • So that everyone can have a chance to utilize KNO, if you have been coming regularly, perhaps wait until later in the week to see if there are still spots available  We are sorry that we have to move to a preregistration system, and hope that you will bear with us as we all get used to implementing this change.

Please do not hesitate to contact me with questions, comments or suggestions!
