About Us

yellow house; Women's Center

Founded in 1994, the Women’s Community Center (formerly the Women’s Center) serves as a resource for the university; sponsors a wide range of educational programs and events; and welcomes the university community into its space. The Women’s Community Center is allied with Cultural and Community Centers and is a unit of Student Affairs

Our mission

The mission of the Women’s Community Center (WCC) is to engage with the varied experiences of women, highlighting women’s history, contributions and accomplishments, and ongoing social barriers. We accomplish this by facilitating intentionally intersectional programs, experiential learning opportunities, and providing tangible resources to all students, faculty, and staff. The WCC collaborates with campus partners to build a community space that encourages thoughtful discussion, fosters a sense of belonging, and inspires creativity across gender identities.
