Emma Stubbe

Emma Stubbe, M.Ed.

Assistant Director, Programming & Engagement

Emma (she/her/hers) leads the implementation of the Women Center’s signature programs/initiatives and identifies, coordinates, and supervises student-led experiential learning projects. Emma specializes in topics surrounding women’s issues and gender equity, but also incorporates content related to intersectionality and issues hindering social justice.

Emma completed her Bachelor of Science at The Ohio State University where she studied Human Development & Family Science and Sexuality Studies. Additionally, she attended Western Carolina University where she attained her M.Ed. in Higher Education Student Affairs. During her time at WCU, Emma was a Graduate Assistant in the Intercultural Affairs department where she assisted in implementing programming amplifying diversity, equity, inclusion, social justice, and belonging. Some salient accomplishments from Emma’s master’s program include co-coordinating the campus’s annual drag show, creating and facilitating Safe Zone presentations, and implementing sex education programming.
